93 Custom Color P90 May Be For Resale

See this thread. David has indicated that he does not want this guitar and may return it. I will reiterate... The guitar is in near mint condition. I personally feel it is worth around $800. Custom color, P90's, all gold hardware, Gibson HSC. The guitar has an ~ 1&1/2 inch long finish crack on the back of the headstock. The crack has not changed in the time I have owned the guitar and is exactly as I describe. This is a very nice guitar. $500 for it is essentially a gift. David is offering it to two people. Should they not take it, it will be back on the market. To save time, effort, shipping wear and tear, I am reposting this now to accept a waiting list. That way, the guitar can be shipped from David to you, rather than back to Texas first.

Here is the original thread where I purchased the guitar from SirDouglas/Randy.

You may view his description as well.

I will stand behind any deal I make.

CraigS and TomTerrific have first dibs.

This guitar is one of the coolest looking Specials ever. No doubt.

The only reason I'm not keeping it is because it weighs 9 lbs and it has the '93 skinny neck. To me, the medium size neck is what you find on a '94-99 (maybe later) Hamers which is smaller than the neck on my Korina Jr.

The action on this guitar is very low (I'd need to raise it for my fat fingers) and there's almost no sign of fret wear.

The guitar was shipped to me tuned to pitch and no problems. The case is a cool tan Gibson (not the one with the pink blanket).

Craig is coming to check it out on Saturday and I haven't heard from Tom yet. I'd love to see this stay with an HFC member who likes the skinnier necks and isn't a wimp like me. ;-)

Great price for a really cool (and rare) guitar. Unfortunately, I don't have five bills and can't buy ANYTHING until I see what I have to give up to the Taxman...

Any chance of seeing some more pics of it, maybe under a little better lighting?

CraigS decided not to take the guitar because of the weight.

As for shipping to England, that's not something I want to take responsibility for but maybe we can get it worked out.

Here is where we are on this wonderful guitar... We are attempting to arrange purchase and shipment to our UK friend. Since this is an overseas transaction, it hinges on all parties feeling comfortable with the transaction. Should that fail, the guitar will still be for sale. The price is both fair and firm. I would like to keep this in the HFC family if at all possible. This is a unique and collectable guitar.
