tomteriffic Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 The Geriatric Purge continues. I have two here that were bought for projects and put away. Cash/MO/PPF&F Conus. SOLD 1) Yamaha FG720S-12 12 string. Solid top, like knew, very low miles. LR Baggs I-beam active pickup. I cherry picked this from everything available at the leading bricks 'n' mortar regardless of price.Recorded its bits on the project and put it away. Generic hardshell. It's a good 'un. SOLD 2) Korean made Danelectro Longhorn 6-string bass. The classic "tic-tac" bass that doubled the doghouse bass lines on the 50's and 60's pop records. Tuned an octave down from standard guitar tuning. Full 2 octave neck so you can cover a lot of ground with it. When one of my old bands formed, I was the only one who knew how to do the twiddly bits. I was also the bass player. Thus this thing. 30" scale, it's a twang king. If you want to double/dabble in bass, here you go. Or you can lighten up the strings a gauge or two and have God's Own Baritone. Generally good shape although the previous owner left a few small dings. I added polish swirls. No charge. Cool faux tooled leather case. $350 each.
