  1. If you're still struggling, I'm here to help!
  2. There's one in Chico I keep not driving out to get: https://chico.craigslist.org/msg/d/chico-80s-hammer-guitar/7917988800.html#
  3. Guy didn't respond to my email. I'm relatively local, I may have to drive out there...
  4. I had one of those Gretsch PU selectors break off in my hand on a gentle pickup change. I think there's some bad cast metal in some of those switches.
  5. I've got the flying V version of this bag; pretty solid quality so far! Thanks!
  6. No affiliation, $1500 Not the best pics! 😂 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/msg/d/san-jose-steve-stevens-1984-usa-hamer/7893580052.html
  7. As it has been said of any 12 string guitar: "You spend half your time tuning it and the other half playing out of tune."
  8. Not especially small, but I love these: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/OctDivider--behringer-octave-divider-effects-pedal?mrkgadid=&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=&mrkgbflag=&mrkgcat=&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=2422365985871&lid=92700082000222919&ds_s_kwgid=58700008893940713&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007215323&dsproductgroupid=2422365985871&product_id=OctDivider&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=c&network=g&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9031953&creative=752276712688&targetid=pla-2422365985871&campaignid=21590335192&awsearchcpc=1&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21590335192&gclid=Cj0KCQjw267GBhCSARIsAOjVJ4ErVQfLV8PZqheyPt2lhJM4kt2Ip7luNukE_H3l66FfwTTHhKeB5X4aAnNfEALw_wcB I have an original and this remake is perfect.
  9. The import stuff keeps getting better. Will have to try one. I've got 3 MIJs that are great and a 1970 Super Chet. The MIJs are great, but still don't compare to the Super Chet.
  10. If you need something simple and small, why not? It could cover a lot of the basics. Especially if you pick it up used. I love the Roland/Boss stuff, but the prices are always a tad on the high side at MAP.
  11. So, It's probably the same software that's in the GT series multi FX pedals. But this way, you don't get as many pedals/options, and they get to charge you an undisclosed amount of cash for any extra pedal models that they release for it next year. It's cool that it's in the boss pedal format, but... seems like a way to pry more money out of guitarists without really offering much. There's a few alternatives in this one pedal/many virtual pedals inside design concept: Zoom & Line 6 come to mind. Handy if you need an all rounder on your pedal board, but otherwise it seems pretty limited.
  12. Thant's got almost as many crazes as my incisors do at this age of life!
  13. That gas can behind it is just begging to be put into use!
  14. 15. He looks pretty Crespo-ey (Crispy)? Dammit, I should have work shopped this before posting...
  16. 2 hours old and still not sold? That's gotta be a record!
  17. When is a pickguard not a pickguard?
  18. The less than body temperature feedback is a bit concerning...
  19. Dang, it's coming up as a cheap mandolin on my SDOD. Must've missed it?
  20. Holy crap that looks great.
  21. Looks like the big washers on the tuners are to cover up the tuner hole finish flaking that seems to be common on these. At least it was common on the 3 that I've owned.
