Mint USA Californian Elite

Just picked up yet another black Cali and the wife went apeshit. I own seven Hamers ( three black Californians). The newbie stays (I'm installing my Jeff Watson PJ Marx in it) and "we've" decided to let the closet classic go because it's in the best condition, IOW, mint. Read all about it on eBay, save for the part where the wife threatens to cut me off for six years. $845 plus shipping. The guitar is cherry and will eat any $1500 ESP or Jackson for breakfast as most of you boomer owners can attest. The sale price reflects the unplayed condition of the instrument and it's increasing desirability amongst mid-90's shredders who finally have some money. Good grief, mint Peavey Vandenbergs and Gibson M-III's are now fetching $700 for pete's sake. To be honest fellas, I agreed to "attempt" to sell it but $1200 would be "too" obvious.

Paypal is fine, I'll eat the charges. BTW, I use DR Black Beauties for my Californians. They look sinister with the only the pearl boomers on ebony visible from a distance...the DR's make it look like the guitar has no strings.

I'm retired military and current law enforcement. Longtime HFC visitor and old site member but only recently joined here. You can deal with me on eBay or we can work away from it, whatever places you in the most comfort. Bear in mind, I've also highlighted this guitar at Harmony Central. My eBay auction description is long (as always) but I find that to be a positive and not a negative.

Thanks guys!

Thanks guys for the nice compliments. It went quicker than I thought. At least now, I'm out of the doghouse. I better put this in writing in case she visits....I've owned more than 200 pointy headstockers since '83, at one point I think I had 65 (just prior to marriage). Most women wouldn't have tolerated such GAS but with no children, I can afford to slip every now and then.

As for my other Cali's, they ain't going nowhere!
