Anyone have history with Vig Guitars in St. Paul?

I like the Godin Core model guitars, but you might want to get a closer/clearer photo of the mahogany grain on the back of the neck, just below where the headstock flares out...the two 'Sunburst' Core models (three listings, but two are duplicate listings for some bizarre reason) on Reverb look like they have unusually short grain in that area, and that causes me pause since that's the traditional 'weak spot' for Gibson-type headstocks, though Godin Core models aren't nearly as steeply angled as Gibsons are.  I can't tell what the grain is like in photos of the other Core models, though.

Edited to add: for about a hundred bucks more ($695), DGS has a similar but more 'deluxe' Godin Icon Type 2 Classic (ebony fretboard, shaped/carved top, factory Seymour Duncan '59 HB in the bridge position) up for sale (no affiliation):

Plus, shipping isn't nearly as eye-gougingly expensive from DGS as it is from Reverb.
