Capacitor type/value/purpose?

Found this in a drawer of stuff and it's the only one and on its own.  What type of cap is it?  What value and is it simply a tone cap or something that would be used for treble bleed? Had to reduce the pic size, so it got grainy.  Thanks!

.022 uF 100V is how I read it. That 224 is cornfusing.  Shape suggest metal or plastic film.

Thanks!  Not sure where this came from. It does look to be metal of some sort under the clear-ish material covering it.

I think it might be Ceramic or maybe Mica?

.022 uF 100V is how I'm reading it too. The 224 could be a batch code or date code - week 22 of a year that ends in a 4 or something like that.

Not ceramic, but I agree metal or plastic film - possibly polypropylene
