Help please! Hamer Cruisebass/UK

I own the Cruisebass below - it's one of the ones without a scratchplate.

I'm looking to get a (black/single-ply) scratch plate made up for it (no screw holes, just going to attach with double-sided tape) - the guys I'm looking at to make this are asking whether I know anyone who could loan me a plate (so I could test fit it for accuracy), then send it up to Manchester for the copying/making and then return the original back to you.

Curiously I'm of the thought that there has to be someone near me who owns one.  There were a lot of Hamers popping up locally in the 80s/90s; Hamer (and Warwick) had their UK distribution at Kings Ride Park, about three miles from where I'm typing this.

Anyone got one that can help out?  I'm local to Reading.

Thanks
Paul

I traced a Cruise Bass pickguard years ago onto a thin piece of plastic.  There might be a point missing and some warpage that will make it imperfect.

If no one comes up with something for you send me a private message.

For the record, I agree that you should leave your Cruise Bass as it is.
