Mahogany, but it does have a maple neck.  Nice piece, sure it sounds great.  Little pricey for a fully stripped body.

Not neck through, stripped, added brass nut, no serial number and a lot of changed parts.

Seems like a stretch for $1k, personally, but if somebody wants a beater, that might do it for them.
