LucSulla Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 This one has a beautiful top. I almost threw an offer out on it, but I'm not a Seth Lover guy and kind of off buying stuff that I know I'm going to have immediately swap pups on. Looking at seller history, I don't think he really sells guitars much. Probably accounts for the very reasonable asking price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/204402627709
Cboss Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 What would the tonal and playability differences, if any, be between this wraptail and a TOM? I have a 25th anniversary artist with the Tom setup so I'm very familiar with that..
Hbom Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 IMWO Tune O Matics work well for those players that actually believe that intonation is important. Wraptails are for those of us that know that IIFP. For a better understanding, I suggest you buy that beauty, put a Faber bridge on it and learn the truth.

Done spoke with him on the phone for a while, he has had it for 20 years, and he said for whatever reason it either lived in its case or on a wall hanger, so not much play The faber tone bar? Any thoughts on the mojoaxe wraptail?
JGale Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 I have both bridges. Fabre on the solid Studio, Mojoaxe on the semi-hollow Godin. The Fabre will crisp things up a bit.

JGale Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 It’s mostly cosmetics. Studio is shiney chrome on always-sounds-better-blue, a popular feast for the eyes. The Godin’s more a shlumpie and the faded mojoaxe looks secondary. If there is any difference, it is the Faber’s tendency to add crispness to note.
