Nuclear Wessel Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 That's cool. Some nice pics of the guitar. Looks like it was Kahlerized, but it looks like there's a route for some other trem under the Kahler. I don't know about the bit about it being the only guitar like it. Isn't the one Ty is holding in the old Hamer Action/Reaction catalog purple?
hardheartedbill Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Kiz your meds are kickin in, he won the auction BY a mere $40
kizanski Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Kiz your meds are kickin in, he won the auction BY a mere $40 Oh! Heh heh....I can read.Really!I can!
Michael_ Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 i think the whole button pickup selection and being upside down thing would really creep me out.
Jeff R Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Those push buttons are necessary to get Ty's sounds IMHO. You can't get neck and bridge together with a traditional five-way blade switch by itself.I didn't figure it out until I wired my Centablo with a mega-switch to be able to do tapped neck/tapped bridge buckers in hum-cancelling mode - now I can nail many of Ty's signature tones using that setting.

Jeff R Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I was using the tapped buckers combined and 'bucking last night playing with "Over My Head" off GCTN.
