HamStd Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I have the following Hamer guitars for sale: 1979 Hamer Sunburst. One piece neck, very nice flame on the top. Top has one bad scratch on it and the normal dings around the edges. There is a patch of finish on the back of the neck that was removed down to the wood. I see a very tiny hairline crack with a black light, but don’t think it was enough to shoot any glue in. NOT a BREAK in the neck. Tuners have been changed from grovers to Schallers (original grover mounting hole is visible). The neck pickup has been changed to a later dimarzio PAF double crème pickup as oppose to a zebra. Frets in very good shape, original, no need for a refret, plays very well. Original case, but only one of the latches is intact will still close properly and hold the guitar fine. S/N 9 1235 Price: $825 plus actual shipping cost 1995 Hamer Duotone: 8.5/9 condition. No breaks or repairs. Frets in excellent shape. Original pickups, pieze works great. Natural top. I got this from a player that string it righty but plays lefty so there is an added strap button hole on the lower horn (see picture). Non-orig. but same style hardshell case in excellent condition. S/N 5 43498 Price: $750 plus actual shipping cost. Few notes to prospective buyers: I rather not do paypal on these (due to a couple of bad transactions-YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE). I am also not looking for trades at this time. Offers can be made (can't hurt to ask as I am trying to be fair on these as much as I can-many cases these are what I have into them {thank you to some of our fellow HFC'ers-You know who you are as well}, just looking to place them in a good home). I prefer keep all transactions domestic, but am willing to discuss that with our overseas friends. I rather not part with these, but sometimes life deals you a bad hand. Thanks for your time. I will try to be as timely as I can on responses, but I will be traveling and won't always be at a computer. {My monkeys are busy with their other task... }. Peter.
