DEMENTED Posted May 9, 2005 Author Posted May 9, 2005 Hey Demented,What pickups are in that Kramer? I honestly don't know.....I don't think they are original though, at least not the 'bucker. Would you like me to take a peek for some identification?

Guest cruster Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 The Steinberger arrived today (very well packed). Mr. Demented described it above as 8/10, but I would give it more points than that. Other than the wear on the pickguard, a little scratchy-scratchy where the tremlock hits the body (not highly unusual) and a small amount of fret corrosion on the high frets (that sounds far worse than it is...believe me, a little hit with Flitz and it'll be like new) are the only problems I can see. Dealing with him was a breeze, and everything was on the up and up. In case anyone is curious in the future, I give dealing with Demented two thumbs up. Thanks, man!
DEMENTED Posted May 23, 2005 Author Posted May 23, 2005 Thanks for the kind words cruster, I ain't so bad, huh? Glad you like the Steiny, it just wasn't for me.
Guest cruster Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 Not bad at all. Don't know that the EMGs are my thing, but I'll hold out for a bit before I scrap 'em. Thanks again; very happy.

Guest cruster Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 You'll be the first to know. I think I've almost figured out the switching setup. There are certain combinations that are interesting, tonally. They're growing on me.
