Mike_C Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Is that 25th Ann one that was formerly owned by Mr. Clay? Just wondering because if it was owned by Mr. Clay then it's probably one of the first six made. Either way the 25th ann is a killer guitar. Good luck with the sale.
SteveC Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Is that 25th Ann one that was formerly owned by Mr. Clay? Just wondering because if it was owned by Mr. Clay then it's probably one of the first six made. Nope - I still have my original 25th (one of the first 6).I also have a black "25th" that I refer to as the "26th Anniversary Model", as it was made a full year after the first batch of red ones. Both are killer guitars, and both are KEEPERS!Somebody should jump on SirDouglas' 25th Anniversary - every one I've played has been tremendous, and I'm sure this is no exception!StevieC
Guest galejt Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Hi Steve! They look better with black pup rings...
SirDouglas Posted November 28, 2005 Author Posted November 28, 2005 The BLitz is sold to Auge... Grats bud... thing plays nice as hell... wish i didnt have to git rid of these but thinning the herd is better than them goin to waste... since i play 50/50 Hamer multi strings and Rickenbacker 4 strings.. another consideration ya might think about tryin togit Hamers into europe is the fact they dont allow "exotic" woods through import... god knows why but the Germans are pretty harse on it... only way i got mine was becuse of the APO address and German Customs... THANKS AUGE... youll be happy... just let it acclimate before adjusting anything Sir Douglas Randy
mucde Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 I'm interested in the 25th Anniversary.mucde (at) hotmail (dot) comJon.
auge Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 what i know isnt it as prob anymore with exotic woods on musical instruments. they changed the law. ?? i think so ;-)
