  1. It is not. I think I deleted a topic once, and I vaguely remember it was in ā€œmoderation optionsā€, or something like that, which I cannot find.
  2. But I do get it. It’s borderlinish. Do you know how to delete it?
  3. You’re right. 😬
  4. I tried that already. ā€œEditā€ is there, but not ā€œDeleteā€. And when I click on ā€œEditā€, it’s just editing, there’s no option to delete. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  5. I was looking for ā€œpsychological support from the communityā€ ā€”šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøā€” but it seems you took it the wrong way. Now, given I think you were impolite, I will tell you that, if you feel teased, that’s your perception. You also had the choice of not replying, but you decided to do it. Are you okay? Is life treating you well? In any case, just tried to delete the topic, because I’ve been around for a loooong time and I have never had any issues with anyone here, so if this post irritates you, it’s maybe smarter for me just to avoid any trouble. I couldn’t find how to delete it though. Can anybody help me? Is @hikarateboy still the admin? Or is any expert around who can tell me how to delete the post? Thanks again!
  6. Playing regularly has changed my mind, I’m thinking more as a player, and less as a collector or a hoarder. That’s why, while talking to Gene @BTMN today, I felt acute symptoms of GSS —Gear Selling Syndrome, which is the opposite of GAS— and that’s why I’m here. So, there are two guitars I own, which are quite unique, but which I don’t play AT ALL. And it feels almost like a disrespect to this community keeping them in their respective cases, because I even have no plan to play them in the foreseeable future. 😬 These are the ones: So, do I let them go? 😰 IMPORTANT: They are NOT for sale, so, if you push me to list them in the FS section with their respective price tags, I might blame you later for making me doing things I really didn’t want to do, okay? 😜 Thank you! šŸ™šŸ™‡ā€ā™‚ļø
  7. He’s using it on the road, yes. In all honesty, aside from its collectible value, I wasn’t very enthusiastic about its neck, too skinny for my tastes. Andy always wanted it, since he was 14 y/o. And he does like it. I think it’s a good thing it’s back to where it belongs.
  8. Hey, thanks! All the guitars were recorded DI, and then reamped. My buddy uses a Rockman and I use a treble booster + Vox AC/30, but the settings change from song to song. And you didn’t ask, but for the vocals, two thirds of the album I used a RƘDE N1, but when we were mixing Dragonfly we noticed some distortion, as the mic was too sensitive and my singing style relies too much on belting. So, we didn’t re-record the vocals on Dragonfly, but for all the songs we recorded after that one, I used a Shure SM58.
  9. By the way, I know you guys love guitar ā€œpronā€, so this is my Hamer pair —yeah, I know the Vector is an import, but it works just fine: As for the other Hamer involved in the story, it’s number 0204, which I got from @KevBower. We used to call it ā€œThe Standard from HELLā€ here, remember? But well, I finally decided that it belonged to the Big Leagues and I transferred it to Andy Sneap last year, so you may call it from now on ā€œThe Standard from Judas Priestā€ 😜 For the record —pun intended—, here’s a picture of it:
  10. There will be a vinyl edition in few weeks, but you can already listen to our new album on Spotify and on Apple Music, plus many other streaming platforms. Spotify: Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/ca/album/dragonfly/1877171168 Now, for the guitars, these are the ones I used, per song —all the Hamers in bold typeface: VORTICE – ā€œWarsongsā€ (2026) 1- Wake Up! - Hamer Korina Standard - Scheithauer Mayday V 2- Time to Rise - Hoyer import, Manlius Fat Goat R90 pickups 3- Weapons Rise - Apocryphal custom V—rhythm - Hamer Vector import, SD George Lynch V8 pickup—both leads and rhythm 4- The Strangest Dream - N/A 5- Dragonfly - Apocryphal custom V—rhythm - Scheithauer Mayday V—rhythm - Hamer Vector import, SD George Lynch V8 pickup —leads and rhythm 6- Mercenary - Hamer Korina Standard 7- Flying Free - Apocryphal custom V - Scheithauer Mayday V 8- Delilah - Apocryphal custom V 9- Wax Museum - Scheithauer Mayday V—rhythm - Hamer Standard 0204 (from Hell) —rhythm - Hamer Korina Standard—solo 1 - Apocryphal custom V—solo 2 10- Time to Rise (revisited) - N/A 11- No Quarrel - Hamer Korina Standard - Scheithauer Mayday V I didn’t play guitar on songs 4 and 10, as my bandmate arranged all the guitar parts for those, so it wasn’t necessary for me to add more noise. He didn’t play guitar on 5 either —in that case, I arranged all the guitar parts myself. We shared guitar duties in all the other songs. What else? Ah, @Jakeboy guested on one of our songs, but that one didn’t make the cut on this album, because it’s a pop song. It will be released eventually —sooner than later, promised! And last, but not least, I thanked the HFC in the booklet —it will be in the vinyl release: Enjoy! 🤘
  11. Ah, just asked ChatGPT. Here’s its answer: https://chatgpt.com/share/6870ecde-6964-8005-937d-324d3eb87d50 We got some homework to do now, but what’s written there sounds promising. Thanks for all the replies!
  12. Ha! One of the problems we have is that we don’t use the same DAW. I use Live on Mac, while the guy in Montreal uses Sonar on Windows. The drummer learns the songs and records at a friend’s studio, and then he sends us the drums stems. No idea if the studio has ProTools or whatever. Ideally, we need something like Session Studio, but with annotations.
  13. That’s more like to jam live remotely, which is awesome. We’ll give it a try. Thank you!!! But we’re still looking for a platform supporting annotations on sound files. šŸ™
  14. Hi there! Our ā€œbandā€ is composed of three members currently living in different locations —I’m in Florida (USA); the other guitarist, bassist and kb player is in Montreal (Canada), and the drummer is in Madrid (Spain). To collaborate on songwriting and on our arrangements, we’re using Session Studio. This application is pretty good, but it’s lacking a major feature: being able to annotate the sound files on their timelines. We would like to annotate the songs at precise points, adding our comments —for example, ā€œthis note sounds too shrillyā€, ā€œI don’t hear the bass hereā€ā€¦ Is there any music collaboration tool that can do this? Thanks in advance!
  15. Looks awesome so far. Keep the pictures coming!
  16. I do get that. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  17. Sounds great, loyal to the original, but it’s still Judas Priest. Thanks for sharing!
  18. I find it chaotic having some strings wound differently. I care much more about consistency and functionality than about how the guitar looks. By the way, I love both headstocks, but I like the chunkier headstock of the more recent Standards better. It’s more Hamer, less Gibson, and looks sturdier to me. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  19. Unintentional click bait šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  20. WOW! That’s what he said —asked him few minutes ago. This is totally new to me. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  21. I haven’t asked him yet, because I just noticed, but I think he was trying to keep the high E string inside the area of the headstock. But from a functional standpoint, I don’t know if there’s any other reason. Why do you think he did so?
