  1. Great stuff here. Especially if you are a Sabbath fan
  2. These guys are great
  3. Wow this thread started in 2012.
  4. They were taking offers. I offered 900. This morning it was gone.
  5. I made an offer turned down and someone snatched it up this morning http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hamer-Steve-Stevens-Copper-Color-Right-Handed-Hard-Case-Electric-Guitar-FP1-/231365298857?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEDWX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=PuBbYi0NZ08hgY3UZhm2OG2lbdE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  6. Yup.. Plays great and sounds great!
  7. Looks like you are correct. Everything looks original pickups, pots etc but for some reason the headstock has been refined. Not sure why. But that's probably why no serial number. Also I just noticed they covered the top hole for the truss rod cover when they refined it. Thanks
  8. Hello I have a Hamer Sunburst. I know it is a late 1970's model because it has the late 70's headstock and It used to have Grover tuners but someone replaced them with Schallers. I am having trouble identifying the year because there is no serial number on it. I'm hoping someone can identify the year based on the pots. Its hard to see from the picture but the value on the pots is 1377851. Added more pictures. Notice how there are no dots after the U the S and the A. It is USA instead of U.S.A. Notice how there is a screw where the grovers used to be. Also no serial number. Came with white knobs
  9. Thanks everyone! Didn't want to replace the original Hamer pot. Took it apart and the bottom piece that the post goes into was plastic. Also, the post still fit into the plastic piece pretty tight. Winded up dropping some super glue on the tip of the post and putting it back into the plastic piece. Put it back together and it works. Tried pulling it really hard and its not coming out. Thanks! Pete
  10. Been having bad luck lately. I decided I needed to buff my 1992 Hamer Special P90. A lot of scratches did some drop fills etc.... ready to be buffed with meguiar's thin cut and swirl remover. So I removed everything before buffing... pickups, bridge etc... Then I had a hard time removing the plastic pot knobs. Wrapped some string line underneath the volume knobs and pulled up and the covers popped right out. The last thing to remove was the plastic tone knob. Used same method pulled up and ... the entire shaft came out. WTF???? Now what? Don't want to replace pot with generic. I suppose I could take the whole pot apart and try to epoxy the shaft back on or find a new shaft to put in. I would like to keep the original tone pot. Here it is: Inside view Help. Need ideas. Thanks
