both of my Newports have their headstock bound if it is a newport Korina, it will have tort binding, so you won't see it up the neck or headstock anyway.

Very rarely, It is very rare for me to buy a new guitar, and it has to be pretty special from the start to make me buy it in the first place. I guess it's more of a "total package" kind of purchase

My Newport Pro, I got it at the end of '99 and it's been #1 ever since. De-throned my Daytona, which had been my #1 since '94. now the only thing my Newport has to fear is my upcomming IMPROV mwhahahahahahahahahahahahaha.........................
