  1. Sold this guitar, a Revv Generator 120, and a player grade Anderson all within 3 days. Still got a Valkenburg DH from that guy I'd like to sell. Nothing wrong with Valkenburg, but I have a lot of SSS strats.
  2. @The_Cali_Kid and he sold it back to me along with two other guitars and an amp. His Corvette engine block cracked. He decided to get a new Corvette. I've now guitar a few guitars and amp to sell.
  3. I bought a mint Anderson from their Federal location about two weeks ago. It's stupidly good.
  4. Sold it back to the person who sold it to me. Made some cash on it but nothing to brag about. I'd bet money that he'll sell it again at some point but he hates shipping, reverb, etc. I will say that it's a good guitar. I personally prefer more modern specs to vintage specs.
  5. Reverb just took down my listing. LOL. I guess I'll have to relist without headstock pics.
  6. Relisted without headstock photos: https://reverb.com/item/96828066-gvcg-s-style-2026-olympic-white I've been lazy and I'm using the pics from when it sold to the person I bought it from last month. I mention trades, but I much much prefer selling and just offer it if anyone has been dying to pick these up for years but doesn't have the spare cash. I've bought a Baker B3 Wood, this, an Anderson, a Valkenburg dh, and a PRS Custom 22 in the last few weeks. I'll likely list all and aim to sell two and keep whatever people don't pick up. This '65 Olympic White S model marks the return of Greenwich Village Custom Guitars. Jonathan Wilson spent the last decade producing records for Father John Misty and Jackson Browne or touring as lead guitarist for Roger Waters. This is the first new GVCG S model he has offered in ten years. The build starts with a lightweight Alder body that brings the total weight to 7 lbs 6 oz. It is finished in 100% nitrocellulose lacquer with light aging and subtle checking throughout. The neck is a gorgeous dark Rosewood on Maple with a vintage C profile, 7.25” radius, and vintage spec frets. Inside, the guitar features a set of 2006 Abigail Ybarra hand-wound pickups. The electronics include a vintage tone cap, CTS pots, and a CRL 5-way switch. It comes equipped with a vintage style tremolo and ships in an Orange Lined Reissue case.
  7. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1694531378223789/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks I don't play bass, I'm too busy with work and family stuff to pick that up. Thought I'd see if anyone else is interested.
  8. Just arrived. I played it last night through an ASM-12 I got used as part of a package deal. It's not as good as something like a first generation Helix, but at roughly $115 when that rebate kicks in it's impressive for the price.
  9. Thanks. Bought it. I took advantage of a capital one offer that's supposed to give you an additional $50 rebate at some point. I don't even know how that works but if it does that's awesom.e Googled how that offer works. Supposedly I get a gift card, not rewards, and it's 60-90 days after I make the purchase. It doesn't really say what kind of gift card. It'll probably show up in 3 months and I'll be wondering WTF it was from.
  10. Yes, only the red one is being discontinued and blown out. I think Sweetwater was getting rid of these 4-5 months ago.
  11. I think I mentioned that PAS was blowing out J Rockett pedals but this one wasn't included earlier. One thing it's taught me is that the diodes may sound somewhat different but not enough for me to buy into the magic diodes in the original Klons. Also, one of the diode options is the same as the Jeff Archer that now costs a small fortune so if you wanted a Jeff and couldn't afford one, this might be the one to get. I already got Sweetwater to match the Rockway Archer price and got that one. But I love EQ so it's not really surprising that it's my favorite take on the Klon/KTR. Fun fact, Rockett originally build the KTR. They had a business disagreement that didn't go well and they've made an absurd # of takes on the circuit since then. Having played an Archer next to a real Klon it was very close.
  12. So the people who say you shouldn't get charged tariffs if you reimport USA made goods are technically correct. But I've absolutely heard of people getting charged (maybe the paperwork wasn't in order) and then having to go throught the effort to get their money back.
  13. I'm slightly confused by the ask/comment. You can get to a point where it has very little gain easily. In that case it would work much like an EQ. But it's slightly less transparent. I've heard some reviews that this is noisy, but I find it's less noisy than the average EQ pedal with my strat.
  14. I bought the Rockway Archer. My personal take is it's the best Archer out there, but I love the versatility adding good EQ options to pedals give so most of my favorite pedals have at least 3 band EQ. If you set it flat it's basically a stock Klon KTR (Rockett helped design and build the KTR but had a disagreement with Bill). As someone who has a Tumnus Deluxe, a Sericon, and who has actually tried a real Klon, this is the best yet for my tastes. This is the PAS link in case you want to call Sweetwater to match: https://www.proaudiostar.com/j-rockett-audio-designs-rockaway-archer.html
  15. There used to be deals. But I had one that arrived broken and couldn't get support from him. That was the end of me buying from him.
  16. @Disturber My experience in that shop has been kind of off putting. They aren't entirely honest and don't do their best work. If it was just one event, I'd probably have let it go by now. The fact that I look this guitar up from time to time is mostly to chuckle at how stubborn they are. I only stop by when I'm in the area which is about once or twice a year these days. Webster Groves is home to the best book store for 100s of miles The Novel Neighbor and a niche folk music store that's the best of it's type until you get to Chicago or Nashville (if you're driving North and South respectively). That folk music store is called Music Folk and is probably 100m or so (300 ft?) down the same road. In fact, I love that area and many of the small businesses it supports, which makes it more ironic to me that I have a moderate level of dislike for this particular place. But that's what happens when their tech screws up a basic setup on your guitar, doesn't make it right, asks you if you can afford an expensive guitar, and you catch a few other retail employees in small lies that make you feel the business is untrustworthy. It's never worth lying just to make a few bucks.
  17. Well now we're into 2026 and it's still there. I'm guess it's been 8.5 years since I first saw this guitar. It's one of the nicer tops I've seen on a Hamer.
  18. I love that you have two amps from Kevin (Rockitt Retro).
  19. I was literally thinking that's the most PRS looking Hamer I've ever seen. Perhaps that's why.
  20. I bought the blond. Through a PA I want to say it's a tad too uncompressed to feel natural but gets better with the tubescreamer on. I haven't tried it through an actual amp. If I wasn't buying stupid amounts of gear right now through acquaintences I probably would be more inclined to grab somemore due to FOMO.
  21. I thought Joe B was on record saying that you shouldn't try to sell everything at once. I don't recall his full rationale but it's something to the effect of flooding the market. I think you might do better to stretch this out over years selling individual pieces.
  22. I have a read and black one. But I feel like I'm missing context, does someone famous have this setup?
