That`s easier said then done, I have a Diablo with the same problem, and the couple of online places I deal with (Warmoth, Stew-Mac, Allparts) sell everything for a Schaller but the baseplate. I sent an e-mail to Schaller to see if they can tell me who to get one from...... I'm sure there would be a Schaller parts dealer somewhere in the US. I'm in Australia, and I just got the store to order a single baseplate from the distributor of Schaller...

You'll have to buy the regular bridge as to dropfit the bridge itself...

I got lucky and found one already routed for a humbucker right from the Hamer factory: original pickups and white plastic pieces safely stored away just in case, but the Andersons sound so much better to me than the original SD APSII/APSII/JB combo did (and I thought the black plastic pieces just looked better against the purple body than the original white ones did) Man that's hot!!!

All stock except the previous owner swapped out the pickups to a calibrated set of Fender Custom Shop Vintages. Did a refret to Dunlop jumbo frets as well...

Mike Lee, thanks for your suggestion, I think I will order a new base plate... However, I might choose to restore my old one, so that if I need another replacement, or want to return it to stock parts, I still have the Hamer Floyd Rose base plate... Thanks again, much appreciated...

Cool, cause the Hamer customer service email correspondent said he/she ain't too true... Shall place an order on Monday...

Final confirmation, the dimensions of the base plate on the Hamer Floyd Rose are identical to the Schaller's???

I've inquired from the local dealers, and have yet to get a response from some overseas dealer... But it looks like ordering one locally would be better, as it would cost pretty much the same ordering one from overseas and shipping it over... I guess if you want to order you at your place, find a Schaller dealer, or maybe ask stores around whether they deal with Schaller agents or wholesalers???

Why order a new one when I could just replace the base plate??? Cause ordering a new one is expensive, and I don't see how it's justified getting a new one, everything else on the Hamer Floyd works fine... My bad, and let me assure you that I would keep the old base plate...

News update: I just realised that I could just replace the base plate on my Hamer Floyd Rose, silly me... Question is, is the newer Schaller Floyd Rose base plate compatible with the Hamer Floyd Rose???

Thanks mate, much appreciated... That same problem has happened to my guitar, to which the stripped hole is even visibly bigger than a new one. The guitar is thus inoperable now, and I will have to buy a new one then, good to know I will not have problems if I order the new ones... I presume if I'm ordering the bridge alone, I would have to just quote the Schaller version, and just the colour???

Are the new Schaller ones better than the Hamer ones??? Cause one of my Hamer's Floyd Rose's intonation screwhole has stripped, and I intend to purchase a Schaller Floyd Rose to replace her...
