It's hard to get any studying done in there. The few times I've gone those waitresses in their skimpy schoolgirl outfits have hopped up on the bar and started dancing. Really distracting. All of Mill Ave is pretty cool if you're into the drunken college girl thing. The main drag in Scottsdale is good for the drunken rich chick silicone/collagen scene. You like flamenco at all? A decent restaurant with an amateur flamenco show every weekend is Pepin in Scottsdale. Depending on the night, there is another pseudo-flamenco troupe that plays the Hyatt Gainey Ranch resort, which is very nice. You may know it as the launching pad of my classical guitar hero, Esteban. We'll dig up some real rock for you...

Last night at 9:20 p.m. we enjoyed the fireworks at Tempe Town Lake. 111°F. It's rough, but you kinda get used to it after that human temperature comfort module in your brain is finally killed (takes about one summer). What kind of music do you like? Gear, not so much to see in the city, but I can probably dig up an entertainment calendar and list of ok clubs if you provide the dates. More later. ~mitch

What you don't seem to understand is that is a special bike, custom built to his own specifications by the greatest, yet unknown, builders on the planet. My first was accompanied by the New Age music that came with my 'Extra Flexibility through Yoga' video. Original question brings to mind Alanis Morrisette as one of the peaks of naive pretentious bitchdom. Oh! And 'When the Children Cry' by White Lion. Guy solved all the world's problems from behind his mic - "No more presidents / and all the wars will end." Brilliant.

That could explain the presence of only him and one other salesman when I went a few weeks ago. It's a sad loss for the guitar community, but at least it will be replaced with salespeople of another industry held in like esteem.

On a more serious note, this song always makes me think of my father. He did nearly three consecutive terms in Vietnam and was given two weeks back home to be there when I was born. He said he almost deserted after that. Vietnam screwed him up for long time and he still won't talk about it or watch a war movie. Plus, the song rocks.

Got em' both...cool band. The Judybats was another band I liked, same thing, got steamrollered by the whole Nirvana thing... Judybats! A name I haven't heard in awhile...as a young dude at the University of Tennessee, I saw and hung out with them a few times, as they were a local small club band. Good memories.
