  1. Totally hate the look of these but got to play one and I have to admit they really play nice and sound great. Todd
  2. Will be thinking of you David, as said before hope everything is positive news from here on. Todd
  3. I'm not advocating those prices but I've got a good friend who has a Trainwreck and it does sound killer! On top of that the guy who built those is a great guy to talk to. When my friend bought his he contacted the him and the guy talk to him for several hours over several days about the amp and even helped him with some replacement parts. The stories he told were great to listen to and you could tell he was a down to earth guy that just happened upon the business. Just my opinion. Todd
  4. Why do I always have a stupid look on my face when someone takes my picture while playing???? This one is from a few weeks ago. Todd
  5. Well I hope she is there this weekend, we play there Sat night!! Usually always at least one drunk at our shows, we just pray that they are female. Drunk dudes are just no fun!! Glad the DC worked out for you. Todd
  6. I'm new to the Hamer scene but was at the Columbus show today, I saw that Phantom A-7, that's a cool guitar!! Too many people around to get really close to it or ask about it. Wish I would have waited a little longer now! I too was disapointed in the dealer turnout, I'll bet there were at least 50 dealer tables less than normal. Whats funny is I see the same guitars there year after year, I am always looking for 80's Floyd rose equipped guitars and there is a dealer that has had a Sparkle custom paint Jackson there every year since I've been going. Never drops his price $1,250. Keep dreaming! He had a few Robin guitars at $850 that are twice the guitar the Jackson is! The only Hamer I found interesting was a Centaura, I've already got one of those. Oh well next year. Todd
  7. I agree 100%, I have seen both JM and Joe Bonamassa live. The first time I saw John Mayer do "Texas Flood" I was amazed, but when he plays his original blues I think it really shows his weakness. However Joe Bonamassa is 100 times the player that John M is. He may not be the lady killer Mayer is but Joe will kick Mayer's butt live! If you haven't gone to see Joe go see him, you won't be dissapointed!! Just my .02 Todd
  8. When you get bored, i'll be happy to pay you $400 for it. Sorry BubbaVO, I really doubt I'll let this one go. Todd
  9. Here is my one and only Hamer - so far. Another is on it's way!!! Found this advertised as a 1993 Hamer Special FM. Bought it for $375.00 Didn't know anything about it so I found this wonderful forum and was kindly explained the diffences between the Special FM and what I had bought. Turned out to be a Studio. Guess I did OK at $375!! Great guitar, a big difference from what I normally play. But now I have a Centura on the way from the same guy. I'll post pictures when it shows up!! Todd
  10. OK, not a Hamer but a Kramer.... I didn't own my Hamer at this time. Last year at Heineygate (OSU pre-game tailgate party) With the Captain Morgan girls on stage. Enjoy Todd
