  1. I see what you did there. The girl was Julie. What was the other guy's name?
  2. Tired of carrying the guitars around in their cases. The studio we jam in is way in the back of the drummer's very large back yard. Can't leave gear in the studio so it's a typical carry from the street with amp, guitar, pedal board, music books, music stand, guitar stand, etc. I use a hand truck for the amp and all the misc. goes in a milk crate. There are fences, gates, and a large, but very playful German Shepard (I wish he'd keep his f'ing sheep out of the way). So, what is it: Reunion Blues, Gator, Mono, Protec, Fusion? Can you help a brother out? Thanks
  3. Sounds like Carvin but with better quality.......that is not to say that Carvin does not have good quality. A workhorse to me would have to be something that could do both the 25-1/2" scale and the 24-3/4" scale tones, so essentially that is two guitars. One with singles, maple neck, ash body, no trem, no bling, etc. T-51 or Tele. And one with P90s or buckers. all mahogany, no trem, no bling, etc. Studio or similar. Did I just describe the Talladegas?
  4. Thanks for all the heads-up (or is it head-ups?). Whatever, thanks again.
  5. If you have one that you wish to part with, for buy or trade, please let me know. Thanks.
  6. Another classic: "Just blow on the strings and she will play herself Not a virgin but only gently played in a home as you can see by the excellent condition of the original case includes strap locks and case key". This stuff knocks me out!
  7. I didn't think anyone would notice. Once I saw the "creamy lard" thing I just had to post it somewhere. The picture in my mind's eye: my guitar neck playing like creamy lard!!
  8. I like the second one below: creamy lard? Really? “The neck is bound, slim and extremely fast with action so low if you breathe on the strings they will almost play themselves.” “Plays mint, neck feels like creamy lard while playing and………” “The maple neck has been well worn from years of playing and the slim C profile is extremely comfortable. It's like your favorite pair of jeans: well worn in and a perfect fit.” “Little to no fret wear, neck is straight, action is low, plays like melted butter.” “Plays like absolute butter” “It plays like sex (better for me than butter in that regard - please keep the butter away from my instruments).”
  9. I can't enter. I'm sooooo weak. If I was a girl there'd be a line around the corner to my house.
  10. beautiful guitar. i know i'm showing my lack of knowledge but what does the "F" mean?
