straightblues Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I got a Zendrive about a month back after 14 weeks of waiting. I was told it was going to be 6 weeks when I ordered. While waiting I bought a Clark Gainster which gets a more old school feel which suits my traditional blues style. I can't afford to keep both and I need money to pay taxes so I am going to let this like new Zendrive pedal go. I checked on Ebay the average price for these seems to be $260 shipped so that is what I am asking. Paypal or US Postal Money order for payment. email me if you want it at stevefinch101 at hotmail dot com.
DavidE Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 The waiting is the hardest part....Alf told me there were only 3 ahead of mine. That was over a month ago. Nothing. He also told me 4-6 weeks when I placed my order. That was the first week of last December.

He also told me 4-6 weeks when I placed my order. That was the first week of last December. He did the same thing to me!!! It is a great pedal when you get it. In fact, it is one of the best pedals I have had. It is very amp like. It is just a little to modern voiced for my traditional blues stuff.
seeker Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 And of course, it was reviewed in Guitar Player in the Dec issue , so everybody wanted one. Luckily I got mine a month before, and in trade (for less than the new price). For once, believe the hype. This one's for real.

I really don't understand why this is taking SO much longer than he said.
ArnieZ Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 David,I placed my order after you and got the same response...6-8 weeks. About 3 weeks ago I e mailed Alf, he responded with a prewritten message that he was shipping out pedals ordered in Dec. I figure I should have had it by now but of course I don't. This is a major problem with prepayment. I don't miss the $ and do still want the pedal, but I feel like I got my chain yanked!ArnieZ
bobbymack Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Had mine for about 6 months now. You'll be okay after you get it, it is an amazing pedal.
straightblues Posted April 15, 2006 Author Posted April 15, 2006 This Zendrive just sold for $250. It is an amazing pedal. Probably the most amp like pedal I have ever owned, period. Just a little too modern feeling for my traditional blues though. I really like the Clark Gainster for the tweed tones. I have also heard great things about the BJF Honeybee. So I have a Honeybee on the way. I hope it will be more to my liking. I have been on a 8 week list for the Honeybee. If not, I will post it here in a couple of weeks.
raymund Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 The Zendrive is a very good pedal, but I prefer MI Audio Tube Zone and Blues Pro made by Michael Ibrahim in Sydney (http://www.miaudio.com/) - amazing pedals !
