RS Guitarworks  2023 “Bakersfield Custom”

RS’s take on the classic Fender double-bound Tele Custom. Fiesta Red and Crème double-bound body, Crème pickguard and cool matching Fiesta Red headstock. RS's "Played, but loved" lightly-aged finish. Finish checking and some small marks here and there, nice, realistic subtle aging. I am the original owner. Custom ordered directly from Roy and Scott at RS. Mint condition. No additional marks other than their original relicing. Plays beautifully, low action, nice weight and sounds sweet. Alder body, Maple neck and Rosewood board. RS uses nothing but the best parts, hardware, pots, wiring etc. 100% original. Comes with it’s original, red G&G hardshell case, Certificate/Build spec sheet, RS Strap and other case candy.

That's a good price. A new build would be much more.

Yeah, new they are $3,000. Even with their holiday discounts, still around $2,700.

That would look Real Nice next to the Cream Boogie multi-valve on the other thread.

That's a great looking guitar, and I'd imagine the P-90's give it a rounder sound while still retaining the Tele-Twang.

The red case completes it.

It's got it's own thing going on. Fatter sounding than a normal, twangy Tele. P90's in the neck are my fav, Creedence all day. But, cranked-up, you can get definitely get your Leslie West on.
