HamerCustomEr Posted April 2, 2025 Posted April 2, 2025 Like (almost)every other Canadian growing up in the 1980s, I have a soft spot for Aldo Nova's "Fantasy". Enjoy the original, featuring a traditional headstock.

The synth intro plays (loudly, of course*) as the gigantic cam lopes idling at around 1,100 rpm as you make the turn around the back side and head back to the street. So long as no one was backing out, you made the right turn out of Sonic and onto the strip just as the guitar riff kicks in. That is precisely the point at which you open the Holly 750, dump the clutch and you're zero to 60 in a couple of seconds for the amusement of all (and hopefully the girls noticed the perfectly executed ballet of automotive prowess and musical timing). *Concorde 25 x 25 deck into two Alpine 6x9's
