2006 Hamer Newport pickup surrounds and pots

Anybody know if Hamer sourced the pickup surrounds from Seymour Duncan or ? I'm gonna put in some Seth Lovers instead of the Phat Cats and would like to install new black surrounds instead of the chrome ones. I'd prefer to get an exact fit by using the same surrounds if possible.

Are the pots a different value for the Phat Cats vs the Lovers?

Hamer used Dimarzio pickup mounting rings during that era.

I was going to do that too. Could'nt find plastic rings to fit the mounting screw holes so i did'nt do it.  Can't help you more than that and I guess while proofreading that was'nt any help. Good luck.

P-90s' as a rule used 500k pots so you should be ok.

Phat Cats are humbucker sized P90s and I think they should fit a Dimarzio HB ring and holes would be the same. I see Dimarzio sells their rings for $4 ea. so it wouldn't be too hard to see if they fit.

Or I guess you could call or write them and ask
