FS/FT: GVCG S-Style Aged '65 Olympic White

I've been lazy and I'm using the pics from when it sold to the person I bought it from last month. I mention trades, but I much much prefer selling and just offer it if anyone has been dying to pick these up for years but doesn't have the spare cash. I've bought a Baker B3 Wood, this, an Anderson, a Valkenburg dh, and a PRS Custom 22 in the last few weeks. I'll likely list all and aim to sell two and keep whatever people don't pick up. 

This '65 Olympic White S model marks the return of Greenwich Village Custom Guitars. Jonathan Wilson spent the last decade producing records for Father John Misty and Jackson Browne or touring as lead guitarist for Roger Waters. This is the first new GVCG S model he has offered in ten years.

The build starts with a lightweight Alder body that brings the total weight to 7 lbs 6 oz. It is finished in 100% nitrocellulose lacquer with light aging and subtle checking throughout. The neck is a gorgeous dark Rosewood on Maple with a vintage C profile, 7.25” radius, and vintage spec frets.

Inside, the guitar features a set of 2006 Abigail Ybarra hand-wound pickups. The electronics include a vintage tone cap, CTS pots, and a CRL 5-way switch. It comes equipped with a vintage style tremolo and ships in an Orange Lined Reissue case.

Yeah, I had the same problem with a Nash I was selling years ago.
They wouldn't even accept headstock pictures with the Fender logo blurred out.

I was wondering about that, but I didn't know how to comment without somehow pooping on someone's FS post.

You clearly state who made the guitar.  No misrepresentation there.

It's of interest to me because just today I received a gen-yew-wine Fender baritone conversion neck for a Tele body I've had lying around for quite some time, almost certainly a copy.  So when I put them together, it's a lowdown partscaster.  But the neck is Fender and it has a Fender serial number, which is all I think any all-Fender guitar has in terms of individual identity.  I don't do much selling, and I don't expect I'll ever sell it online, so I don't know how a case like that would fly.

Also just today I learned that Made In Mexico is now Made In Ensenada, although the serial number still begins with MX.

Sold it back to the person who sold it to me. Made some cash on it but nothing to brag about. I'd bet money that he'll sell it again at some point but he hates shipping, reverb, etc. 

I will say that it's a good guitar. I personally prefer more modern specs to vintage specs.
