  1. No idea what I was thinking. Outstanding guitar.
  2. So great. Love everything about this.
  3. Yes, I saw that. Nice guitar, but not for me. GLWTS!
  4. @django49 You oughta post a pic anyway, even if it's not-for-sale. That custom super pro is drool worthy.
  5. If you have something that you've been on the fence about moving, but just haven't been motivated enough to post yet, I'd like to hear about it! interests: Custom orders. Tally Pro's Super Pro's A Newport Pro? A Studio custom order? (maybe a 30th anniv? A redwood? A triple threat? I can dream.) And heck, while we're filling out the "no way in hell" wishlist, a Monaco Monaco, or a Newport 90 would certainly be very interesting too. No bigsby's, please. Thanks!
  6. I was really tempted by this one... Looks like it's in great condition.
  7. I'm drooling over the Hamer, personally. Gorgeous.
  8. Just stumbled across this beauty: (no affiliation) https://reverb.com/item/99649096-robin-usa-ranger-series-2005-wood
  9. My guess would probably be that the shipper laid the box face down and put something really heavy on top of it -- and the indestructo-packaging was the only thing that saved it from complete oblivion.
  10. I like to think I've entered the "no new guitars" phase of my life, but then I saw that Triple Threat, and... yeah... Glad it's going to a HFC'er ! Congrats!
  11. My old Tally had vintage orange listed at the color on its CO certificate. Looks like the same color?
  12. Oh, the Dirty Harry wasn't bad. It's just HOT, and I wanted to try something else in it. It's staying with the guitar, will go with it if I ever sell it. The Gravelin I've got in it is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Absolutely the right decision for me.
  13. One more e-type. I’ve pulled out the Dirty Harry pickup and put a glorious Gravelin in mine. LOVE the neck on this! (Please excuse the crappy pic -- but you get the idea!)
  14. That guitar looks like it has some serious mojo. I have my own black 1979 sunburst (but not bound and crowned), and it's an amazing guitar . Congrats!
  15. I really hope this happens. If this ends up being set-neck / sustain-block / talledega or double-cut shape, I'd do my best to find a way to be in. Seriously, how cool would it be to have a "working man's" version of a Tally? A tally in the spirit of an early 80's special? Or a "re-issue" of an early 80's special? How awesome would that be?! Perhaps another way to keep costs down would be for us purchase our own pickups for this project and provide them for the build?
