golem Posted Thursday at 03:41 PM Posted Thursday at 03:41 PM I think some people call this a Dirty Boost. It's got some gain, push, compression, and EQ changes. I'm tempted even though anyone looking through can see I'm selling thousands of dollars worth of pedals right now. Usually a sale like this means they're going to discontinue this model or maybe go to a new version. I've had a few J Rockett pedals. I think this is one of their old school builds that has the super heavy enclosure. Way overbuilt. 2 1 Quote

golem Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:03 PM @Saul GoodmanHere in STL that's like the cost of food for my whole family (dad, MIL, wife, daughter, me) at a small business. Is lunch expensive in your area? 1 Quote

Is lunch expensive in your area? I cook at home for very little. Maybe $10 for two. But, sometimes we like to go out. Sushi for two / lunch, $68. Steak for two / lunch, at Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn, close to $80. Never thought I'd see the day when sushi is less money than steak. But, the nice thing is we usually have leftovers for dinner, the portions are fairly large. I get 16oz ribeye, loaded baked potato, caesar salad, drink. I also tip about 20% so the price of lunch including tip is between $70 and $80. Dinner is usually more expensive for some reason. And I don't like to go out at night anymore. I haven't been to a fast food joint in probably 20 years and they are fairly cheap. But those places are nasty. I stay away as much as possible from processed foods. ETA: I got the pedal coming from my guy at Sweetwater, Thanks!!! Edited Thursday at 06:53 PM by Saul Goodman 1 Quote

He’s a Canadian singer/songwriter and one of the few truly great slide players alive right now; he has inspired a generation of pinky Slide disciples who are all nowhere near as good as him lol (they all go for the fuzz and flash but have none of the substance- very like Hendrix imitators) but it’s interesting to see him doing pedal demos 👍 He’s also a terrific singer, look up a live version of “Angeline”, his signature song. 3 1 Quote
golem Posted Friday at 10:58 PM Author Posted Friday at 10:58 PM I realized this is another one where I can use my capital one shopping rebates. Apparently I get $25 back if I use ebay (Pro Audio Star has it on ebay). I submitted an offer for $72. I'll give it a shot. Capital One makes you jump through some hoops. I forgot about it so I still haven't redeemed the $90+ I have there. This reminded me to jump through another hoop so hopefully it'll be done soon. 3 Quote
