I need a truss rod cover for a '97 USA Cruise bass.

I also am in need of a knob. It has EMG pickups on it, and the tone control is modified to a concentric style with bottom ring control and top knob. The top is gone. Does anyone know if these are factory knobs, EMG knobs, or just knob knobs....

I emailed the plant, but thought I would check here, too. Thanks!

Send the bass to me! Is it a 4 string? sounds like you have a 5 string with active pups. Mail me what you want for the bass. Case?

Nice seeing you on the HFC!

ps, I don't think Hamer ever put emg's in the 4 strings. Sey Dunc was put in the 4 strings. The 4 strings were passive and the 5 strings were the active ones with the name on the pups. I'm usually wrong, so let me know what you have!

Those knobs (if they're black) are probably stock EMG stuff that you can still get from them. Can't say for sure without seeing them but that's the kind of thing they ship with.

I think the knobs would be an EMG part, -just guessing here. My Cruise 5 came with EMG's and that stacked tone knob. EMG's were just an option for the Cruise basses, you see a whole lot more with Basslines, -which I think are the most common Cruise pickup. I had a Cruise 4 (I think it was a '94) that came with some variety of vintage style passive Duncan (not Basslines), so there are those too.

Thanks for the replies. I was gone over the weekend, so didn't have time to explore it further. I will pull the control cavity plate and peek at the wiring. If its a cobbed up job, it should be a giveaway that the EMGs are aftermarket. I did peek at the EMG website and noted the knobs that come with their kits, and these look like theirs. It is a matter of determining which one.

Thanks, again!

BTW, it is a 4.
