currypowder Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 2 Guitars for sale. Pictures below.First is a 1995 Minty Hamer Standard. 1 piece body. Flame sunburst finish. Binding around the body only. All original as far as I know. I hesitate to describe any used guitar as mint, but I can't find a mark on it, so I'll say "near-mint". I traded for it a few months ago from Craig S here, but I guess I'm just not a pointy guitar guy. Includes OHSC. SoldNext up is a minty unique custom Heritage H516 in flame vintage orange finish (top, back & sides). Binding around the body (front and back), neck and headstock. TV Jones pickups in HB size. Bigsby tremelo. Basically an american made Gretsch 6120. Includes OHSC. Again, I can't find a mark on it, so I will describe it a "near-mint". SOLD

MCChris Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Great looking Standard. Kinda looks like yours LOTT. Nice! Yeah, what a top on that one!
srvwannab Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 If I didn't already have too many Standards... (hold on... did I just say that, or was I channeling my wife??) sorry, previous statement not possible----Let me restate... if I could justify one more guitar purchase right now, that Standard would be on its way to beautiful Reno, NV... Incredible looking guitar!
currypowder Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 Thanks for all the nice comments. The pictures don't lie. Both guitars are stellar. I know the Standard isn't a four digit or have a rare headstock, but you'll be hard pressed to find one in better shape. I mean, look at those flames. No beltbuckle rash on the back. Maybe a slight amount of pick scratches, but only if looked at at the right angle. The same with the Heritage.Trades for cool guitars considered. I prefer lighter guitars, so no boat anchors. Not interested in amps or pedals.
srvwannab Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Email Sent w/ Trade offer on the Standard... Extra light weight guitar from Bill Nash...
currypowder Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 Trade pending on the Standard. Heritage still available.
currypowder Posted August 6, 2006 Author Posted August 6, 2006 Bump for price drop on the Heritage. $1,550 shipped.
Craig S Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I can vouch for the Standard, it is one clean guitar. I had some sellers remorse over that one. Currypowder is a great guy to deal with. It's funny though I traded on a Gretsch and I'm not sure I'm a Gretsch guy.. We both had fun with the trade though.
currypowder Posted August 9, 2006 Author Posted August 9, 2006 One more final pre ebay bump on the Heritage with a significant price drop. $1,400 shipped. I just purchased a rather expensive tele, so no trades anymore.
currypowder Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 Yeah. I'm sorry, I should have updated that. The standard trade is done with both guitars in transit as we speak.
Craig S Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Sniff, sniff..... I kinda of missed that one. Whoever got it, you got a good score. congrats.
srvwannab Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Thanks- I am excited to get it. That said, I am going to be posting the '91 one-off Standard that I got from Kilroy. Incredible guitar. Thanks!
