hamersandstrats Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I don't know about the rest of you, but I happen to get a wierd thrill out of Eddie self-imploding. Talk about a great rock-n-roll story. So he's always blasted. So his wife left him. So he can't keep his band(s) together. Let's face it; as incredible as he was, the guy really hasn't done anything worthwhile since the early '90's. Want proof? Listen to those past 4 "songs" Van Hagar recorded a few years back. I can't wait for all the books written about him after he croaks. That was very classy. Have you considered therapy?

MrGuitarguy Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 That whole 29 seconds of video is not much to go by.The other one is a whole minute long and sounds like it was recorded with someones cell phone. How can you cut him down based on this shit???? I can hear the pitch and tempo just fine on both of those and it sounds awful! I'd say that's how. It sounds like some kid who's been playing for a year cranking it up in a music store...
Punkavenger Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Hey, I loved Eddies early work ... a genius to be sureBut to have millions of $$$ , Be married to Valerie Bertinelli, be one the worlds best guitarists and a good looking guy to bootNot exactly a cross to bear in my opinionHe f'd up ... and I honestly hope he gets better soon

Why yes, I have...but I think that the therapist would need therapy after I finish with him!Seriously, come on. Who needs therapy more? Eddie for being a whack job, his multitudes of "yes men" who facilitate his behavior, or me for stating the obvious?
