"Made In Japan" (NOT "Crafted in Japan", apparently there's a difference-the MIJ stuff seems to be much preferred and consistently sells for more $$) '62 Reissue neck and body (finished in rare Rebel Yellow opaque-GREAT, cool finish), upgraded with Fender USA Reissue pots, switch, guard and USA Vintage Reissue Tremolo, Rio Grande pickups (forget which set it is, but they sound great). W/HSC. Looking for $650, although I know I could get a lot more than that by parting it out on Fleabay. I hate to see a nice guitar get broken up. I've got a lot more into it than that. Nice low action w/no buzzing. The Tele is NOT for sale... Email me if interested.

serial Posted October 13, 2006 Author Posted October 13, 2006 I like the Callaham trems, but this one and the gold one on the Strat I just put together are REALLY nice. I broke a string twice on the new one-one string each night at gigs last weekend and the rest of the strings remained perfectly in tune. With .009s! I must be getting better at putting Strats together. I suppose I SHOULD. It took me a full four minutes to wire up the last one w/o a diagram including time to let the iron get hot, so I suppose I know my way around inside a Strat ok after 20+ years.

serial Posted October 13, 2006 Author Posted October 13, 2006 That's a "'66 RI" partsocaster I made with an old Tokai maple cap neck (a wonderful neck-I've had it on three guitars), '66 logo, bridge saddles and I think even has NOS '66 Fender pots. Body is Warmoth. Very light and a really nice player.
