m chops Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I've got a humongo keyboard gig bag available. Its a Kaces Keyboard Porter for an 88 key keyboard. The interior dimensions are 59 x 18.75 x 7. Its got wheels and is in good condition. It looks like this one.Keyboard PorterNew, they retail for about $170. I would be thrilled to get $75 for it. Shipping is the issue. I looks like it would cost about $70 to ship UPS ground. I would willing drive 50-75 miles to meet someone to deliver it.email me bfarah at riverlaw dot com.
tomteriffic Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Sheez, Ben, that IS enormo. I've got an 88 key board that I have a 'plywood and rat fur' case for that weighs a ton and I could use something like this, but my board is significantly smaller in every dimension. Somebody with a high-endy Triton or similar ought to look into this.
m chops Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 My Yamaha S08 came shipped in this. It works but still had a lot of bubble wrap within the case.I think it weighs about 15-20 lbs.If your interested, Tom, I'd be happy to meet you in Columbus!
tomteriffic Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Ben, I'd look forward to the meet 'n' greet, but the case is just too way huge for my purposes. Besides, I only move this thing about once a year.
m chops Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 will a triton fit in it?If I'm reading the specs on the 88 key Triton Studio correctly, it would fit with a little room to spare!
alpep Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 temptingalthough i intend to never take the keybaord out of the studio, it weights a ton. you coming towards the east coast any time soon?
