What type glue should I use?

The nut on one of my guitars came off. What type of glue should I use to fix it? Super glue OK?

I was just gonna use super glue until I went to stewmac and they have all kinds of glue....confused.

Do not use super glue. I've used white or wood glue and had no problems (I suppose it depends on the nut material). You don't want it to be too "permanent" so as to cause splintering if/when you need to change it.

Elmer's glue works. You only need a couple of dots.

I strongly do not recommend superglue. You'll have one hell of a time removing the nut in the future.
