holLoWskull Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Just going through some of my extra parts and found a black pickguard for USA T-51's (I believe it's bakelite but not 100% sure). It's a well made guard in nice shape, but I don't think it's an original Hamer part. Anyay, I got this on my T-51 that I bought a few months back, so it fits up perfect to USA T-51's. I figure $8.00 shipped to anywhere in the ConUS to any HFC'er who's interested (basically I'm just looking to make sure I cover all shipping charges). I've got a couple pix of it if anyone is interested, just drop me an e-mail or a PM on the board. Paypal, personal check, USPS money order all fine.
belgian Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I could use one !!!I have modified T-51 with 3 Tom Anderson pickups, that I want to restore to an 2 pickup version.
Hamer95USA Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Hey guys, I am interested in it, but please sell it to belgian. I would like to have him restore his modded T-51 guitar. Is that the one silentman was selling with the rosewood neck? If it is, you're quick to buy it. Would you like to trade necks, Belgian? My T-51 maple neck for your T-51 rosewood neck? Guitar George
holLoWskull Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 It goes to the first member who sends me an e-mail saying they want it. I was looking to just do a within continental U.S. only deal at $8.00 shipped, but if a fellow HFC'er from a different country is willing to pay all the extra fees\shipping\duties, etc., we can figure out how much it'll end up being. I just want to reitterate that I'm 99.9% sure that this is NOT an original Hamer pickguard (although it is a good quality piece that was obviously made to fit T-51's). Just want to make sure there's no confusion on that point in case someone was thinking this is an original Hamer part for a T-51 restoration project.
belgian Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 No, it isn't the T-51 with rosewood neck, I have it for some time now, but it's a T-51 with typical country-picker set up.

Hey belgian, Way cool Nashville mod T-51. Are you removing the middle pickup & the coil tap switch and changing the metal control plate? That guitar is going to look great when you're finished. You have a maple nect T-51. Beautiful guitar!! Guitar George
