BCR Greg Posted June 13, 2007 Author Posted June 13, 2007 would i be able to get a setup done while there? I won't get a chance to breathe during this madness, so we can assume that there will be no setups.
BadJaxx Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 i knew you'd be too busy but didn't know if someone else did setups for ya....no problem, was just checking...
BCR Greg Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 Kurt is out with Linkin Park, so you're stuck with lil' ol' me.
BadJaxx Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 we're leaving here from work tomorrow, about 12:30....gonna stay at her brother's in York....drive up in the morning....will be there waiting in line...
BCR Greg Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 Well, I just cleaned the grill, purchased 300 some hotdogs and buns and a wall of soda. The trunk is full of chips and stuff.Oh, and a couple more surprises arrived....
BadJaxx Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 i may try to talk Kat into dropping by on our way this afternoon just to check out a couple things....you're open till 6pm today, right?
BadJaxx Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Kat and i wanna thank Greg, Kristin, their daughters, and all the BCR staff for their hospitality, freebies, chat, jokes, and smiles, today.... had a nice time and really glad we went...stayed all day... some really nice guitars at some great prices.... i didn't bring a guitar back, but not because Greg didn't offer me great deals....they just didn't suit me....i'm weird that way...
BTMN Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Yeah but how many hot dogs did ya eat. Those lil skinny guys usually eat the most.
BadJaxx Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Yeah but how many hot dogs did ya eat. Those lil skinny guys usually eat the most. only 1.... since the guitars and amps were priced so low, he had to make up for it with $50 hot dogs....
BCR Greg Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 The Green Flake is getting a new reverse head neck with the new double acting trussrod. Just because. Here's Chollie's pics of the destruction of various guitars and stuff after the sale ended. We save unfixables all year and toss them off the roof. It feels fantastic to destroy gear when you fix it all day.http://s96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/2ndStringRoadie/The vids will be posted soon. Victoria went BATSHIT and scared us all.
Zoner Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 A few observations. Great stress management tactics there. I suggest a grand finale involving the one component missing - fire! I know why the rest of the world hates us - some poor kid in a third world country would kill for a sweet Kustom 4-channel P.A. head, and we toss them off the roof forfun (although, when he is old enough he can probably get a job for a buck or 2 a day MAKING them). I NEED a Robin. I NEED to know the dark-haired beauty at the pickup winding station was ill-tempered and smelled bad so I can stop lusting. Imagine, a beautiful gal that can spin up a set uf custom pickups. Damn. Ken has a bad, bad Robin fixation - I approve. I hope to make it to BCR country someday and sooner rather than later. Looks like a fun crew. Z
BCR Greg Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 HAHAHA!!! The Pa head had been plugged into a 220 watt line, it was fused SOLID inside. As to fire, we did that a few years ago. The traffic copter put us on live tv and the cops investigated. Good thing the cops are all friends that come to see me play.....Ken, call me, I have something for your Robin lust........
kizanski Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 There's NOTHING wrong with the way Pilar the Pickup Winder smells.
