Tragedy Sale

Joepic.jpg

Recently, a good friend and great player, Joe Giebler, passed away. I’ve known Joe for over 20 years, we’ve played in bands together and were very close. His family has asked me to help sell off his gear to put the money away for his son. (I’ve told them to keep his guitars for him) So, here’s a list of some of the other gear. Almost everything is in excellent condition with some normal wear. He did lightly gig with most of it, but didn’t abuse it. I just wanted to give everyone here a shot first before trying Craigslist or ebay. All prices shipped (paypal extra). Since there is so much, just ask for a pic and I'll get it to you asap.

Pedals (All Pedals have Velcro except where noted. All work fine. Some without Batteries)

- Ernie Ball Volume Pedal (Model 6166 full size), EXC $60.

- Boss CH-1 Super Chorus, Orig Box, EXC $40.

- Boss TR-2 Tremolo, Orig Box NM $40.

New addition

Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor EXC $40.

Audio Gear (Mics have mic stand mounts

- (2) Bose L1 Model 1 Single System/Bass Module w/covers (Local Denver area only) EXC $1,500. each

- (2) Neumann KMS105 Mics (Silver) Near Mint $400. each

- SKB Hard-shell Mic Case (6 mic slots + Storage) EXC $50.

- Yamaha MG 82cx 8 chnl Mixer w/EFX, A/C Power Included EXC $80.

Ernie: You can get a lot more for those Bose towers. Look on Ebay. They sell used for close to the new price. I'd buy a second one for $1250!

Thanks David. I may up it a bit then. I have no idea what they sell for used. They are pretty darn good sounding on an acoustic gig!

Morley AB box is sold.

1st SM57 is sold. Still have one left.

Please help out and let me know if you think I've mis-priced some items.

I also now have Joe's Mesa Boogie 1x12" in Hardwood/Cane Grill! I think it's Mk I, but not exactly sure. I'll post some pics and maybe you guys can help me determine which Mk model it is. I'm going to go through it to make sure it's working and sounding like it should. Pics to follow.

OK guys, here's the Boogie. It's amazingly clean and looks to be 100% original, right down to the original Mesa tubes! Best I can find out on the web is, it looks like a Mk. IIb. From what I've learned, these are pretty collectable (especially in this condition) I'm offering it up at $1,500. shipped. (it's heaaaaavy).

Ernie,

Got my stuff in the mail today. That was super fast! Thanks for the prompt shipping and I hope I was able to help Joe's family at least a little.

WOW. That one looks SPECTACULAR. With the original Mesa/Sylvania STR tubes to boot!

Yeah, it's crazy clean. I remember my buddy Joe had it, but it wasn't in his studio. We had to locate it. We also found a '61 Brown Bassman head & cab that is just as clean. Joe was a fanatic about his gear.
