stonge Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 with a nod to the 'how to photograph a black guitar' thread, here are some samples of how NOT to do it lol: 1997 Hamer Eclipse 6 string with OHSC - very good, clean condition and all original. Weighs 8 lbs, 1 ounce on my digital fishing scale. $650 for local pickup or add your choice of shipping at cost. Email any questions to stongemonataoldotcom. Thanks, stonge
LordOfTheThighs Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Nice looking Eclipse ......... but how much for the zebra skin?
Guest Meshuggah Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Black is the new black! And datsa nice'un.
Bloozguy Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I'm glad you posted that one AFTER I sent you the money for the 12-string...otherwise I would have just had to switch my payroll direct deposit to your account LOL!
cmatthes Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Not quite the Stadium logo - more like the High School Football field version from the mid-90s.
stonge Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Is that a stadium logo on there?not a stadium logo, but I have seen Hamer logos from 1997 that have the 'USA' part in a 'fatter' font than usual. One of my recent Phantoms had the same logo type, so I don't know if they just had a different batch of logos they were using briefly? I was the second owner on this one, and there are no breaks or repairs. It's clean and barely used - now that I have a Tele with the mini-hb in the neck, I can let this one go (especially when there is a Newport 12 waiting in the wings). The Eclipse is a fun guitar, but I'm not really using it that much. Sounds nice and snotty through a tweed Deluxe though...
stonge Posted October 26, 2007 Author Posted October 26, 2007 now on the Gear Page, and headed to Ebay this weekend. thanks, stonge
straightblues Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I love my Eclipse. These are the most under rated Hamers IMHO. Somebody pick this up.
