DavidE Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I have a tweed PV Classic 30 that's not getting used. It has the Teefus mod for even better sound. I also added a tube tamer and a tube cage to protect the tubes. I've owned it for years and never had an issue with it. Original blue marvel speaker. The peavey logo was replaced by a Fender logo!I'm thinking $400 plus shipping due to the extras.

You don't have to do what I did with the Weber Alncio Blue Dog. A Celestion Legacy will be a big improvement. IIRC that was original equipment before the change to the Blue Marvel.

I think Craig said that it sounded better than most out of the box before he did the mod (I actually took the amp to him while I was in Louisville for business). I'm like David E on this though, I don't think the Blue Marvels sound bad in these, I might pull the TX heat out of mine... Remember one thing about the Blue Marvels...they are not a very loud speaker so you can push the power tubes harder. +1 for both the Teefus modded C30 and DavidE
