cmatthes Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Just make sure you have cream pickup covers on those P-90s!!
mrmojorising Posted March 3, 2005 Author Posted March 3, 2005 Here is the close up of the custom shop Studio Custom w the Cats and ebony board. Sorry for lousy pics...I'm not very good at this picture thing! Carl
mrmojorising Posted March 3, 2005 Author Posted March 3, 2005 And here is a pic of the Goldtop w the Lollars...Sorry again for lousy pic. Carl
DavidE Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 ARHGGGG!!!!! Black pickup covers on a P90 Goldtop????? Who would do such a thing???????????????????????????????????????;-)Seriously, people gave me shit about doing the same to mine and I finally changed them back to cream and sold the guitar shortly thereafter when it hadn't sold for a year.
mrmojorising Posted March 3, 2005 Author Posted March 3, 2005 I have the stock knobs, pu rings, pu selector switch caps and covers for the soapbars if that a big deal for someone. I just don't want to take the time to make the changes...Can't imagine the tone pros or locking Schallers or pu choices are going to turn anyone off....
mrmojorising Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 Oh yeah, I am always interested in McNaughts and Trussarts too. And Heritage 555's...
mrmojorising Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 Thx Armitage...thats my Texas blues guitar, don't you know. Body on that one is big as state of Texas, and it sounds it through an old Super Reverb!
mrmojorising Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 If anyone wants the original cosmetics restored (creme cpu covers, knobs, etc) I can do that...have plenty of original Hamer parts around.
mrmojorising Posted March 13, 2005 Author Posted March 13, 2005 Goldtop is gone.Still have the Standard Custom & Studio Custom...Carl
foodermon Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Carl, I'm curious what you thought of the tone from the Standard when you had the pcats in..
