sonic1974 Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Nickel finish (I need chrome), still sealed. $100 shipped CONUS only. Paypal OK if funded from a paypal balance. scottcw1965 a t yahoo d o t com Would that fit on a Hamer Studio Custom? What's the advantage of the Tonepros over the stock tunomatic that Hamer uses? Thanks for your time. p.s. Checked out your website, some awesome stuff on there. I was drooling over some of the older Goldtopes and the amps you worked on are amazing. Loved to get my hands on one of those Fender Champs or Marshall 18 watters. Oops, just realized the website is from the shop. Must be a cool place, near your neck of the woods? You Americans don't know how lucky you have it, way better stores than where I live in Ottawa. rob
Lew Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Rob, chances are your Hamer came stock with the tone pros bridge : unless perhaps it is an old model? If it has Tonepros it will have the screw adjusters either side of both bridge parts and have Tonepros wriiten on the underside of the tailpiece. Get your partners vanity mirror and slide it under, and if you dont have a partner then don't admit that you have a vanity mirror pretty boy

I'll have to pull it off when I'm changing strings, no vanity mirrors at my place. peace rob
Lew Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 If you can't see the allen screws either side of the bridge parts its not a tone pros so buy this one haha
Brewmaster Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 "What's the advantage of the Tonepros over the stock tunomatic that Hamer uses? I don't know the advantage of the tailpiece, haven't tried one, but I put a Tone Pros bridge on my SG Standard and it woke the guitar up. Rings like a bell so to speak, more resonance and sustain.
LordOfTheThighs Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 My Vector has a Tone-Pros bridge on it. It was stock. I think it makes a difference. I've never had the chance to A/B a Tone-Pros vs a non locking bridge, on the same guitar. But the concept of the Tone-Pros makes perfect sense to me.

Hamer only recently began using those in the past couple years.
