  1. ha Jizz!! The case had stickers on it that said "denim slate", it's alot darker than the prs denim finish. I'm used to the Schaller style floyd that they use on the Hamer's but this one seems good so far, best thing about it is that it's recessed.
  2. It's an S5 Thanks for the ex-change rate guy's ;P list on them is $3100 0_o
  3. Not a Hamer!! Had it for a few days now, love it Some of my favourite comments so far are "look's like someone spilled paint stripper on it" "it would be ok if it wasn't for the junk metal bridge" and my favourite "look's like someone jizzed on it"
  4. man monaco's have such fat asses, if it was a woman it would have a huge ass in some tight as hell denim lol! Just sayin! Besides, I like it ;P
  5. As a rule I have never liked prs, but that model is really calling me. The price aint too bad on it either.
  6. Save your money for an assasin to take out your neighbours not standards tbh
  7. I am new to the family this year and bought a couple of Hamers. But this guitar has sold me to the Hamer brand. I have new pictures but I can't find my usb cable DOH!
  8. I have this coming early next week to go in the bridge of my studio http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/ZH-crawler.html
  9. Wow! You lost the hair but not the guitar!
  10. Give me your postal address I will mail some picks.
  11. I dont think its Hamers ability or morals in regards to QC/layoffs/parts-wood that is in question it is current day FMIC
  12. It would be good to see the employees buy the company...if it made money. Many of you have forgotten that Hamer USA is only kept afloat by the import line and that it is in the red every year. I'm not saying that this IS what will happen, but don't be surprised if the Fender bean counters look at Hamer USA as a loser and simply close it down. As that article pointed out, Kaman liked the idea of having the innovative division in with the high tech aerospace division, but Fender might not share that opinion. They didn't get to be as big as they are by holding on to dead weight. Hamer makes great guitars, and that's a point no one would argue, but as far as being a money-maker... I must be a real cynical bastard to hope fender do close Hamer down rather than fuck it up... dont get me wrong I would rather they made shit guitars and the people at Hamer and there families were financially stable rather than unemployed but... Danzig guitars sounds like a great new guitar brand to be honest hah ;P
  13. why do you put locking tuners on your Hamer? and Hamer do come with tonepros
  14. Im going to ask Santa for a BKP Mule set for the studio ;P
  15. Bubba VO that sure sounds like an easier pill to swallow when you put it like that, thanks for the perspective
  16. Looking at past history of fmic and aquisitions says that they will market Hamer like there is no tommorow and make them "accesible" to the market as there is of recent a huge demand for them. which will result in either Hamers qc going to complete shit(see every other fmic brand for reference) due to the work load fmic will expect or they will either make them in california for a hella lot less or keep as is and throw $500+ on retail of a guitar. I am trying to be positive about this believe it or not... but if anyone thinks that fmic will be any where near as discrimanating regarding wood use and paying out for tone pros etc without a huge upcharge to current prices then they do not know fmic Sorry for the venom but it's really a kick in the teeth to find a brand I can really dig and then watch it being sold to a company that couldn't have any more of a polar opposite way to guitar making than Hamer. I was looking for an excuse to buy a Briggs or a Mcinturf anyway, thats me convinced now just the wife
  17. Awesome! Congratz That Natural looks sexy too I have played bolt-on 25.5"pretty much exclusiveley for 13 years...own some Suhr etc,but it's only since I have been playing shorter scale guitars I have been getting close to the feel and sound in my head, aint it funny how guitarists rarely step outside there safety zone
