Found some cool stuff if anybody needs anything:-Hamer Sustain Block trem bridge. Ta-daa! This one has been retrofitted for the collared Floyd arm, making it USEFUL! Bridge is in nice shape and these things are VERY hard to find. $85-Hamer 80s Slammer Humbuckers (found 2) $35/ea.-Hamer 80s Slammer single coils (found 2) $35/ea.-Hamer P/J set from 1981-1984 Cruisebass/Blitz Bass ($45/set)-Kahler Pro tremolo (from a 1985 Phantom)-R2 locknut from Hamer Chaparral-TONS of original Hamer tuners-lemme know what you're needs are. Some NOS (gold and black lefties), most of the rest are chrome Schaller and Hamer branded.Have to remember what else is in there, but some mounting rings, truss rod covers, pickguards and backplates too.-Still have a NOS case that was made for Jeff Ament's 12 string Duotone bass. Will fit other Hamer double cut basses, it's just a little deeper, so more padding for your axe-much better for a B12S than the oversized cases that they shipped in. $85.I've also got tons of other stuff-email me if you're looking for some hard-to-find parts. I've got a bunch.

LOLDon't have a Chap anymore-I can try to take pics of the case and post 'em. Most likely, a lot of things would fit in there, but it might involve removing some of the foam insert around the body (no big operation). IIRC, it's a center pocket case, so I have to see how much clearance there is for a body.

serial Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 Tuner update:-I found a set of 6 in line "Hamer" branded tuners in chrome.-Also located a set of USA Grover smooth backs (3+3) which are IDENTICAL to the ones that are stock on my 1980 Deans, so they're either from that era or exactly the same and would work on a 79 or some 78 Sunbursts. Excellent condition.-Have a set of Hamer-stamped 3+3 tuners and a set of Schaller 3+3s that came off of another Hamer.-Have a "Cruisebass" script logo original 80s Truss rod cover that I can let go, but need to hold on to the other TRCs I have left. Thanks to everyone who's picked stuff up so far for helping me clean some stuff up!

NOS Hamer bass case is on hold pending receipt of payment (my fault for the delay-sick kid-today is the third visit to the doc's since thursday) and the lovely weather we're having. A big THANKS to everyone who has played so far I MIGHT have another set of 70s Grovers from an early Sunburst-need to check if the set is complete-I thought I had another set around-found four last night and think I know where the others would be.
