Hmmmm........ you have a nice wife - i don't get any musicgear for xmas. poor me but never heard from that bixonic. how does it sound? can you compare it to any other pedal?
Mike Lee Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I had one and sold it years ago. It has dip switches inside to change the gain level. It was like a TS with a little more grit. But there was a "secret" undocumented setting that turned into a super high gain fuzz. In the end, the regular tone wasn't as good as a TS, and the fuzz setting was more of a novelty than something you'd regularly use. If there had been an external selector switch for the modes, it would have been better, which is something they added in later versions.

Hamer of the gods Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Hmmmm....I have two of these.......Do I hear Three Fitty??? !^)
santellavision Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I agree too. I had one for a while. Never really liked it that much.
hamerhead Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Hmmmm....I have two of these You need 3 to be like Billy Gibbons.
HamerHokie Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 You need 3 to be like Billy Gibbons. BTW, I think there was a discussion a few weeks ago as to what Gibbons is using live now, and over at the Plexi Palace I stumbled over a thread that asserts he's using Mojave amps for touring. Very detailed info from the Mojave dude himself.

Cool looking but Crate? I figured he's still using the JMP-1 Marshall preamp he's used for a long time.
