bobbymack Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a great playing, naturally worn in / relic'd MIJ 57RI Strat in (I think) Vintage White...looks kind of like buttermilk. Callaham trem and bridge / saddle assembly, Good sounding Texas Specials. I believe this is from the mid 80s, maybe somebody can tell from the serial info. THis has been gigged lots, and is a really good Strat for not alot of money. Looks cool too. $SOLD BIG Panthers Blow Price Drop shipped and paypalled in lower 48 __________________

You're right on with the date. The Japanese 'E' series serial numbers were used from '84 to '87.And, nice guitar!
murkat Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 very nice mij Bobby! its amazing how much a callaham bridge/ block can "wake up" a strat. All my strats have been modded with there machined blocks and the difference is huge. Huge gains in tone. Great guitar man, good luck with the sale.
