Carr Vincent for sale no longer for sale

Looking to sell the Vincent for $1575 shipped.

Here's some info on the amp.

The amp is in perfect condition and is the model before the name change to Viceroy. Amp features Volume, Treble, Midrange, Bass, Reverb, Drive and a 33/7 watt Power Switch. The midrange and treble controls are interactive, which allows for endless tone shaping possibilities.

The Drive control works like a variable bias (at least that's how I hear it) - it doesn't add gain as much as it add girth. At lower settings I hear more cleaner Blackface tones but as it is turned up the volume increases and the amp tends to fill out, in a good/great way.

There is a built in 33 or 7 watt setting, this works well for playing at home or recording. At 33 watts the amp is plenty loud enough for just about any band situation and it stays clean for a good length of time. The drive and midrange controls change the amount of clean headroom, but there is plenty to be had.

The amp also has a foot switchable boost and the footswitch and manual are included. The boost can also be activated by turning off the midrange control. The speaker is an Eminence Wizard.

The amp is self biasing and has fresh Groove Tube GE 6L6's in it. There is a padded Tuki cover and the footswitch for the boost (still in the box).

I tried to look at the pictures, but it brings me to a login page, and identifies the album as private.

Hi harryjmic,

Any interest in trading for a Marshall JMP 1917 PA20 Head? Just throwing it out there. From 1973, all original parts, 3 cord prong added. 20 watts of Marshall goodness.

Let me know.

Sorry, probably a great amp but I don't need another small amp right now. I'd like to sell this or trade it for a Hamer if possible. I am thinking about a Fender Vibrolux though.

Ok, cool, good luck with the sale.

Price dropped to $1625 for HFC members. You need to contact me so I can pull the Ebay auction, do not buy it from Ebay as I will not honor this price if you do so. Thanks

Do people know about these amps? I'm really stunned at the lack on interest.

People don't have much free cash these days.

note: previous version edited for horrible grammar.

I have noticed for sale posts that require you to click on an external link to view the photos never sell as well as posts that have the pictures embedded.

maybe it's the economy.

In my case it sure is! As much as I would've loved a Carr Raleigh, it was not to be. Instead it was an Orange Micro Crush. They may both be 3 watts, but I think that's the ONLY thing they have in common.

I could afford the Orange.

sk

Bump for a great amp and a good HFCer!

I'm also open to some possible trades, here's few items of interest.

Amps - Guytron GT100FV, Bogner Shiva, Fender Vibrolux, Vibro King or Dual Professional Matchless HC or SC30

Guitars - Vinetto Artifacts, Hamer- Monoco or Korina stuff
