miragejake Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Selling my beloved Quiana as I'm being laid off. It's in excellent physical condition and comes w/ a nice padded cover. Just had it serviced about 3 months ago w/ fresh JJ's and has had maybe 20 hrs playing time on it since then. Comes w/ the FS7 footswitch. This is the cream of the crop as far as Rivera's go. Cops blackface tones on the clean channel, and does very nice marshall/mesa type o/d of the drive channel. Specs: 50 watts--2x6L6 / 5x12ax7 2 Channel w/ boost on each channel. Pull Treble and Mid Boost--you can shape pretty much any tone you want out of this amp. Cabinet Material: American Maple Solid Core Plywood Cabinet covering: Black Tolex® Vinyl Grille Cloth Color: Vintage Blonde Cabinet Hardware: Chrome plated metal corners, Vintage style Leatherette padded handle Dimensions: 23.75" x 18.5" x 12" Weight: 65 Pounds From Rivera's Site: Following up the introduction last year of the Quiana 212 and 410, our first Combo amps with 6L6GC Output Tubes, we are proud to announce the Quiana Studio 112. With the stellar praise the Quiana has received in the media and by musicians, here is the gorgeous looks and tone in a compact package. Extra deep cabinetry gives you the warm bottom end, and the sweet compression of the standard Celestion Vintage 30. Coupling this with the spank tone of the 6L6s results in a harmonious blend of just plain outrageously good tone. The newest in our line of hand-crafted All-Tube amplifiers. 50 watts of sweet clean power with (2) 6L6GC Output Tubes standard, and a fat and bad ass tone when pushed. Five 12AX7 Tube Preamp with 2 distinctly different sounding channels with their own 3 band EQ, ranging from the tweed of tweeds, to as brown or blackface as you like it. Footswitchable boosts on each channel, 6 spring "Hammond Long Pan" reverb, and a special Focus and Presence control for speaker damping and final high frequency EQ round out the tone. A Vintage/Modern switch on the rear panel allows the power to be cut in half and sweeten the even harmonics. A serial effects loop with level controls in provided to patch you into most any external effects device. A 3 Function (FS-7) Footswitch is included. The cabinet is built of hardwood plywood, and finished in a rich ruby red Tolex with complementing Di-Tone beige grille cloth set Quiana apart from any other amp you've seen. A comfortably padded strap handle, rugged chrome corners, heavy duty rubber feet make easy daily transport. Front Panel is Silver nomenclature on a black background. Black knobs with white numbers round off the controls. Looking for $1175 shipped/paypal'd BUT ---I do want to still have an amp to play if I want to go hang w/ the guys and jam...SO, if anybody has a lesser amp they can part with on a cash plus trade deal---let's work something out. I'd be open to lots of other stuff: fender, vht, lesser rivera's, mesa, alessandro working dog, groove tubes...basically any decent tube amp that will cop good clean tones. The Quiana is just too much amp to keep around if I'm not gigging...I need to come out w/at least $400 cash out of the deal if I do a trade plus cash deal---so that means amps in the $700-775 range would be suitable.
santellavision Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Sorry to hear about the job loss. Sucks. My wife is still looking too. These are great amps.
miragejake Posted April 29, 2009 Author Posted April 29, 2009 Thanks for the kind words...this is a fabulous amp.
miragejake Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 bump...somebody out there has to have an old fender laying around that they'd part w/...you know you want a sweet channel switcher.
Eric Weston Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 Those are killer sounding combo's and they don't come up for sale that often. Good luck...someone should jump on that.

Good luck...someone should jump on that.+1 There is no amp of around this wattage that I'd rather have. Unfortunately I don't have the cash and this WILL sell way faster than anything I could sell to come up with it.
