Wayne Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Price dropped to $1,300Here are more pictures. Email me for large ones:http://poconos.craigslist.org/msg/1217702738.htmlIt's very good looking. Do you know the neck profile (standard, wide/thin, wide/fat)? Which pickups are in it?Thanks.
qballman Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 The guitar is all original so they are the stock McCarty pickups. I don't know if they ever offered otherpickups besides the McCarty or if there are different versions. The neck is also the Standard McCartyshape, not wide thin but not as big as wide fat if that helps. Very comfy. I will check the hangs tags andpaperwork, QC card when I get home from work. I am in the Scranton area, we are not too far fromeachother.[email protected]570-878-9906
DavidE Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 McCarty guitars come with a wide/fat neck. Anything else would be custom. The PRS wide/fat neck is neither particularly wide nor fat.
JGale Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 but it is scrumptious. Talk about bad timing. I so want this.
qballman Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 David, you are right buddy, I just checked the hang tags and it is wide/fat.Thanks,JQ
Joe G Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 John is also just about the easiest guy to deal with, too. I bought a great FM Special from him and he bought a carved spruce top Duotone with crowns from me. Good Luck with the sale.
DavidE Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 David, you are right buddy, I just checked the hang tags and it is wide/fat.Thanks,JQThe McCarty Model is just an incredible. It was my first PRS and I still have that one and added three (yes, three) McCarty Trems and they're my #1 gigging guitars. This guitar is a hell of a lot of awesomeness for $1300.
