RoyB Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Guys I've got a 74 Les Paul Custom with original cherry burst finish that went through the 70s and had all it's hardware changed to Schecter and the pickups to Dimarzios. I added the correct Grovers, a TonePros bridge and locking tailpiece studs, our aluminum tailpiece and electronics. It is set up like a normal two pickup Paul, so the middle pickup is not hooked up at all, but all the pickups are 70s DiMarzios with a Super D in the bridge, a Dual Sound in the middle and a PAF in the neck. It had new 6100 frets when I got it (installed by Willcutt guitars) and they are still in great shape. It's got a medium C neck (think 90s Hamer) and it weighs 10 pounds, so it's not too heavy for a Custom and has it's original case. The guitar plays flawless and sounds pure classic Ace in every way, but I've got big hands and the neck is too small for me to really play long plus I have four other Pauls with big necks, so it gets very little action. I am jonesing for korina vector, but I'm open to cool trade offers (I love Standards). I'm not sure about a cash price, so for now lets just talk trades.

They are not the correct 70s Gibson Grovers they are the very hard to find 70s Grovers that Ace used on all his Pauls. Everything is set like his not really Gibson correct. Hmmm.... Does it have the correct Grovers on it now? The ones in that pic don't look like anything I've ever seen on a 70s Gibbo. I'm sure I would kick my own ass if I got rid of my korina Vector, but I don't know... Oh and I know you have a lot of cool stuff, so throw something out there

Serial asked about working a trade, so he's first the Len asked for a price first so he's next. The cash price is $2000 shipped in the US if no trade works out.
