currypowder Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Gone a little overboard lately with my buying/trading lately, so offering a few extremely cool and great playing guitars. Prefer to sell these outright, but always willing to entertain trade offers. All prices are shipped. I would prefer USPS money order or paypal e-check. But if you must use paypal, we can work something out. Greco Explorer Copy model EX800HB. I have 2 of these, one a 78 and one an 82, I've decided to sell the 78 and keep the 82 beater. These are essentially Ibanez Destroyers with different pickups (manufactured in the same plant by the same people). These are exceedingly rare guitars (I've seen 3 for sale in the last 5 years, and I won 2 of them) in this configuration (black, body and neck binding, crown inlays). The 78 is completely original and the 82 is as well (except for the tone knob and case). The 78 is in very good condition with just a couple of dings, and one through the finish mark (see pics) on the upper/bottom horn. Original frets are in great shape and there is fret edge binding. OHSC is included with the 78. The 82 is a beater extraordinaire! Whoever owned this before absolutely abused the finish with some stickers and then used something like a paint scraper to remove them. Also some pink paint was used and there is remnants of the paint, especially on the pickups. My intention was to clean it up and maybe even work on trying to get the finish on top in a little better shape. However, when I received it and re-strung it, it played and sounded so good I decided to leave it as is. Original frets are in great shape although there is a little wear especially on the lower frets, and also has fret edge binding. The tone knob in non-original. Includes a non-original Hamer HSC. $1,150 (PRICE DROP TO $1,050) shipped for the 78, the 82 is no longer for sale. 78 Pics: http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c270/cur...078%20Explorer/ 82 Pics: http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c270/cur...reco%20EX800HB/ 06 ESP Custom Shop Ronnie Wood Tele. Excellent condition. These don't come up for sale too often. Flatter radius maple neck with frets that are somewhere between 6105s and very small vintage ones. Includes OHSC and COA. SOLD. Specs from ESP: http://www.espguitars.com/guitars_ron.html Pics Here: http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c270/cur...%20Wood%20Tele/ Danocaster Esquire. Nice comfortable neck with 6105 frets and a 9.5 radius. Pickup is a Don Mare, but I'm not sure exactly which model. Great condition (it's a relic, you know). Plays and sounds phenomenal, but I already have a very special tele. SOLD Below are some neck measurements. Measurements of the frets were taken just behind the relevant fret. Nut 1.6255 wide 1st fret .835 deep 12th 1.99 wide .931 deep Pics here: http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c270/cur...ster%20Esquire/ McInturff Sportster with P90s and vibrato bridge. My understanding is that Terry doesn't make these anymore. C-shaped beefy neck. I believe it is similar to a 57 neck carve with a thickness of 1" all the way down. Excellent condition, but there is one small ding on the lower horn right below the tip (you can see it in the pic below) and comes with the OHSC. $OLD http://www.mcinturffguitars.com/06-Guitars...ortsterSpec.asp Pics (from previous owner) here: http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c270/cur...ff%20Sportster/
edgar_allan_poe Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 If you are a n00b please be advised that currypowder is as good a seller as you will find. He takes exceedingly good care of his stuff and his descriptions of his guitars are always spot on. Deal with confidence.
currypowder Posted October 11, 2009 Author Posted October 11, 2009 I know. I just can't justify keeping them both. Thanks for the props, Poe! ESP and Dano are sold.
murkat Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I can attest that the clean greco is an exceptional guitar when I had it. I wish I had the coin to get it back. What a rocker. if your looking for a tube amp.... trade bait lmk CP....
currypowder Posted October 11, 2009 Author Posted October 11, 2009 Trying to actually sell a few things, but I have wanted to try something like a Vox HW AC15 combo or similar. Have anything like that? If not, what other kind of bait can you dangle in front of me. I can attest that the clean greco is an exceptional guitar when I had it. I wish I had the coin to get it back. What a rocker. if your looking for a tube amp.... trade bait lmk CP....
currypowder Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 pm'd Got it. I'll get back to you later.
currypowder Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 Let's bump this up. Willing to entertain trade offers, especially those involving a Vox Handwired AC15 combo or a Bad Cal Lil 15 combo or head.
currypowder Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 Bump and a price drop on the McInturff and the 78 Greco.I've decided to keep the 82 beater Greco. Everytime someone inquired about the 82, I was disappointed that it wasnt the 78. I guess that's telling me that the 82 just fits me better, even though the 78 is cleaner and plays and sounds just as good. So sorry for anyone who was really interested in the 82, it's off the market.
davidd Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 By the time I saw this posting the ESP Ron Woods was sold. Can you just tell me what your asking price was so I know if it was in my price range? Thanks,David

Can you just tell me what your asking price was so I know if it was in my price range? Thanks,DavidNo problem. I was asking $1,000 shipped and ended up taking a pedal as a partial trade that I believe gets me there. If a rosewood fretboard one ever comes up for sale, I'll likely buy it. I just can't get it on with a maple board.
GaryT Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 How many frets on the McInturff 22? Nice Axe brutha
